River of Dreams
17.1h 2000 TB

Rio came to us from Texas as an off the track TB.  He was very nervous and extremely up
tight about being groomed and ridden. We had our doubts about his career in eventing, but
we decided to take a slow route with him and see what would happen. It has been a year and
this horse has decided that he loves the sport of eventing, especially the cross country. He is
getting along with his dressage and with the help of our new dressage coach we hope to
improve upon what he has already learned. He extreme desire to please is what we love about
him, he always carries you to the jump with his ears pricked looked for the next one.  This
May and June he made his eventing debut with runs at IEA HT and MSPC HT.  He ran in
the BNH division and placed 2nd and 4th respectively. He has qualified for the Area 8
Championships and for the American Eventing Championships this year. He will move up to
Novice at MTPC HT. We are expecting great things from this wonderful horse.
Gem of a Guy
16.0h 1998 TB

Gems name says it all.  He is a wonderful horse that we purchased from one of our students.
He had some issues with water when we got him but with patients and time he has learned to
love the water.  This horse has wonderful dressage and is constently in the low 30s but has
his best score at a 24.  He is also a point and shoot jumper in which you can get him there at
any spot and he will still go.  The easy at which he jumps is amazing.  What is truely lovely
about this horse is that I have put my lower level lessons on him to learn how to canter and
jump.  He has such a laid back attitude for a TB it is great.  He does love to be the center of
attention at the shows, sticking his head out of his stall and picking up anything he can reach
(even a chair if it is close enough). Captain Personality could be his show name if he already
didn't have a great one.  Gem has competed through novice, qualifying for the 2008 Area 3
championships.  He also competed this spring with a C level pony clubber at BN where he
placed 5th and 7th.  He also qualified for the Pony Club Championships with her.  We hope to
have him competing at novice again and then move up to training.

Collateral Damage
15.1h 2004 QH/Percheron

Little Man, as he is known at the farm, came to us last year needing some major work. He had a sweet
personality but at the age of three had not been started. He was very upset about even getting off the
trailer when he got to the farm. He was started under saddle and then was given time off to think about
all he learn. We had our working student bring him back into work this summer as her project horse.
She did a great job catching him back up to speed and starting him on his new lessons in eventing.  He is
now ready to be apart of the team. He will be attending combined tests and mini- trials this fall and then
hopefully will move up to recognized competitions in the spring. With his very laid back "surfer-like"
personality we hope to see this little guys career go far.
